Hi, I'm Lisa, the founder of College Edition/CDG.
Design has always been more than a career to me—it's my passion. I love the process of taking an idea and transforming it into a space that tells a story, serves a purpose, and leaves a lasting impression. I believe great design has the power to shape experiences and bring people together.
I founded CDG in 2003 with a simple goal: to create thoughtfully designed spaces while building meaningful relationships with every client. I believe the best projects begin with listening. Understanding your vision, your goals, and your challenges allows me to create environments that are not only beautiful but also functional, timeless, and uniquely yours.
Over the years, I've had the privilege of collaborating with incredible clients, manufacturers, and partners across the country. Every project has reinforced what I value most—integrity, creativity, communication, and attention to detail. From the initial concept to the final installation, I'm personally invested in making sure every space reflects the vision we set out to achieve.
For me, design isn't just about selecting furniture or choosing finishes. It's about creating places where people live, learn, work, connect, and make memories. Those moments are what inspire me every day and are the reason Inspire exists.
As a parent of two college age kids, I understand how important a dorm room or apartment design is to their success away from home. It's no longer just a place to sleep, it's a reflection of their personality, style and needs.
We would love to help you make your dorm room or apartment an amazing place you love almost as much as home.
